"Hold this thread as I walk away"
How many times have you actually had to make a life changing decision? Once, twice, maybe, lucky you. I have set far too many plans for my life that I will never meet, ideas that will never meet their fruition as anything more than a waste of time.
- The video game that I had worked on for some months a few years ago over the summer. What a game it was. It had everything a good game needed except a way for me to realize it. Somehow I had hoped that I could get into the video game industry at the age of 16 with a simple idea for a RPG (role playing game). I thought it was good at the time and I still think it has potential but I can't do anything with it for sometime...also I forget where I put it.
- For a very small time I played with the idea with being something of an artist, with words and stories, ie. comic book artist, which is wierd because I have yet to read one.
- I don't know how many times I have started to write a book, but it's far too many to count. Earlier this week I started one about my college life (which has been pretty dramatic, althought nobody would ever know it) and have the first ten chapters planned out for writing, so we'll see how that goes but it's looking like I have enough to work with to make something work.
- Guitar was a middle-school fancy of mine but after failing a few times it was very easy to get hung up on the failure. I still play guitar from time to time and like it but I'm not skilled enough to make anything of it.
- After realizing that I wasn't nearly good enough to play guitar in any kind of band I looked to something I did have some experience in - singing. I have taken choir in middle school so I knew that I was able to sing but that doesn't mean I was cut out for it. The way I saw it was that as a singer you share a large part of your life in your singing which I don't think I could handle, so there went that option.
- Everyone is told that if they really try at something they will succeed, but that's crap. Sports are for a small perecentage of the population that has the physical build and lucky chance to make it in the world of sports. I thought maybe I was able to make it in a sport, but as luck has it, I was not.
- I have come up with several inventions and a board game that could have made it if I had only been a few month quicker with my ideas: scented toilet paper, a singing toothbrush to name a few.
